Join a team or organization
If your research group, company, or university has a Paperpile subscription, you can use Paperpile via this team or site subscription. Depending on the type and settings of the subscription, there are different ways to join.
Join directly from within Paperpile
If you already have a Paperpile account and you are invited to join a team or organization:
- Go to Settings > Team.
- Click Join [My team/organization].
Follow invite link or invitation email
If you have a Paperpile account:
- Click the invite link (sent automatically by email or directly from the administrator of your team or organization).
- On the page that opens, click Join [My team/organization].
If you don't have a Paperpile account:
- Click the invite link.
- Sign up for a Paperpile account on the page that opens.
- After signing up, click Join [My team/organization].
Use your company or institutional email address
If your company or organization has a team or site subscription for everyone signing up with a work or institutional email:
- Sign up for Paperpile using your work or institutional email.
- You will automatically be added to the team or organization.
If you've already signed up with another email or want to check if you can join your team or organization with your work or institutional email:
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Join team or site subscription.
- Enter your work or institutional email.
- If you're eligible, Paperpile will send you a verification email.
- Follow the instructions in the email to complete the process.
Use a license key
If you received a license key to join a team or organization:
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Join team or site subscription.
- Enter the license key
