Cancel and renew a subscription

Cancel your subscription

Go to Settings > Billing and click Cancel subscription at the bottom. When you cancel your subscription:

  • You will not be charged again.
  • You can use Paperpile until the end of the current billing period.
  • After the current billing period you will not be able to use Paperpile. However, you will retain access to the Settings area which allows you to export your data.
  • We will not delete your data or account unless you explicitly tell us to do so or delete your account yourself. You can always renew your subscription (see below) and continue where you left off.
  • If you have a team subscription, all members will be notified about the cancellation and the date of the current billing period until they can use Paperpile with your subscription.

Note: Your subscription will be canceled automatically after we repeatedly fail to charge your credit card on file. We will notify multiple times by email before your subscription is canceled so you can update your credit card, see Make changes to your subscription.

Renew your subscription

You can always renew your subscription after it has been canceled.

Click Renew subscription either in Settings > Billing or in the subscription window that appears when you start Paperpile after your subscription is already deactivated.
